Women’s Agenda GLAM Scholarship Competition

Competition time! 

Women’s Agenda and Avril Henry & Associates are giving readers the opportunity to win a scholarship package including three days of leadership development in the 2017 Sydney GLAM Program, valued at $3,300.

The competition closes on the 30th July, and is open to those who subscribe to the Women’s Agenda newsletter and share their best career advice.

The Great Leaders Are Made (GLAM) Program will empower participants and further develop their leadership and management skills in preparation for more senior roles. Key leadership topics covered include influencing through communication and listening, resolving conflict constructively, networking, managing your career, finding balance, and leading the future workforce. The fact that over 40% of participants who have attended GLAM, have been promoted into more senior roles with greater compensation in less than 12 months, is testament to the success of this influential leadership program for women.

The 2017 Sydney GLAM Program scholarship package are: 

Day 1: Wed. 13/09/17

Day 2: Wed. 11/10/17

Day 3: Thu. 09/11/17

The package includes: 

The package includes one scholarship to our final 2017 Sydney GLAM program being held at the Kirribilli Club, Lavender Bay. This scholarship is valued at $3,300 and includes all training materials, and on each of the three days, a delicious catered lunch, morning and afternoon tea, with freshly-brewed coffee/tea on arrival too. Costs associated with travel, accommodation, and any incidental expenses for attending the three days of the GLAM program are to be covered by the successful candidate, and the scholarship package is only available for the 2017 dates specified.

Terms and Conditions 

These General Competition Terms and Conditions apply to competitions run by the Promoter. They may be amended or varied from time to time by the Promoter. Special Terms and Conditions may apply to particular contests in which case, the Special Terms and Conditions will be highlighted on the competition/promotion page.

The winner will be selected based on their response regarding their best career advice. 

The winner will be selected by the 4th July and notified immediately.

Conditions of entry: entrants must live in Australia, be 18 years or older, and not be employees of the Promoter or its related bodies, or the immediate family of such employees. Immediate family includes spouse, parent, child or sibling, whether or not they live in the same household as the employee. Each entrant must sign up to the Women’s Agenda newsletter and answer the ‘career’ question to be eligible to enter the competition.

The prize must be taken as offered and are not exchangeable, transferable, redeemable for cash or for resale. In the event that a prize is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes unclaimed after a period of two weeks from the date of notification of the winner may be forfeited. Prizes will be posted to the address nominated by the winner/s. No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for any lost or misdirected mail.
