Motherhood, business and the power of changing your mind: latest podcast

Women's Agenda podcast
Our latest podcast is away, this time with special guest Lorraine Murphy who shares why she decided to sell her business following the birth of her first child, and much more.

Lorraine is an award-winning entrepreneur and bestselling author who founded her first business, The Remarkables Group, in 2012 and grew it to a seven-figures. In December 2017, she exited The Remarkables Group in order to pursue what she describes as “soul-on-fire work” – namely speaking, mentoring and running trainings for organisations. She wrote Remarkability in 2016 and Get Remarkably Organised in 2018.

With her second business, Remarkability, she takes a GSD (Get Shit Done) approach to life and is on a mission to help those who are ambitious, driven and wanting multi-dimensional success.

Lorraine shares how and why she’s changed her mind on big decisions in business and life, as well as what she’s learnt about assumptions made about mothers in business.

She also shares more on some accidental feedback she received in 2017, after requesting a cafe with “room for a pram” when organising a business meeting overseas.

And finally, Lorraine offers some tips towards the end of the recording on how to get “remarkably organised.”
