Women Chiefs of Enterprises International presents “Step into Your Power” – an informative and interactive event providing attendees with insight about how to empower themselves to be the best version of themselves, in every aspect of their lives – professional, social and family.
The event will feature leading women from industry, politics and the media, participating in a panel format, with an expert moderator leading the discussion around the Women’s Empowerment Principles – Equality Means Business. Listen to these exceptional women talk about their personal journeys, and learn they have overcome obstacles and challenges to achieve success. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions to ensure that you leave the event inspired to take action!
The discussion will include the following topics:
- gender equality in corporate leadership
- discrimination in the workplace
- health and safety for women
- education, training and professional development
- participation and empowerment are critical to transformation
- resilience and adaptation to change for women
- the encouragement and support of all women
Women Chiefs of Enterprises International (WCEI) is a non-profit organisation, providing an environment for women to grow and develop in their business and professions. WCEI is committed to supporting sustainable business and social development amongst women in Australia, encouraging every member to recognise her responsibility to create change for a better future.
We will be supporting a relevant social cause (still to be determined) that is active in a topical area (for example the Domestic Violence hotline or Lifeline).
Benefits to attendees:
The benefit of attending “Step into Your Power” is to meet other women who are in a similar position, or have been there – to share experiences and therefore build confidence that they are not alone, which is empowering. Attendees will be able to connect with other women and WCEI members will facilitate introductions based on participants individual interests.
WCEI will provide a delegate pack for every attendee with information about the topics discussed, the speaker bios, and “where to next” information for those that wish to take follow up action.
We will invite people to apply for membership of WCEI so that we can continue to support their journey – wherever they may be headed.
