Toon is an accomplished and qualified leader, who has served as the company’s Executive Director and General Manager for the past four years. During this time, she has led the strategic operations of the organisation across Australian and Asian markets.
Her breadth of experience across 17 years in a variety of sectors has proven her capabilities in operational management, governance, marketing and communications. All of this experience is indicative of her leadership experience and business development work.

Here at Women’s Agenda, we’ve been a fan of Toon for a while. In 2017, she took home the Emerging Leader in Design and Architecture award at the Women’s Agenda Leadership Awards. Here’s a snippet of the judges’ comments:

Ian Klug, Chairman of the Place Design Group Board, is supportive of Toon’s appointment to CEO.

Toon has also exercised a long history of engagement with the not-for-profit sector, being involved with YWCA Queensland, Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation and Youngcare.
Currently, she sits on the board at the Youth Advocacy Centre and is a committee member for the Australia China Business Council Property & Construction Working Group.
