Help us research Family Violence Leave in Australia

We’ve partnered with Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand on this short, anonymous survey to determine the state of paid family/domestic violence leave in Australia.

Can you help?

Whether you’re employed, run your own business, are retired, on a career break, looking for work or something else, we’re seeking your input.

We’re trying to determine how many Australians have access to paid family/domestic violence leave, and what more organisations and governments can be doing to mitigate the risks of violence.

We’re running this survey after learning from Good Shepherd more about the significant role a workplace can play in supporting women who’re facing, or at risk of facing, domestic/family violence.

This includes women like Jenny, whose story we’re sharing on Women’s Agenda. Jenny had to rebuild her life after leaving an abusive relationship. She lost her job, her life savings and her confidence. We believe her situation could have been improved if she had access to paid family/domestic violence leave.

Our survey takes less than five minute. We’ll be collating the results and sharing them on Women’s Agenda later on in the year.
