Female leaders on the critical issues facing us over the next decade

New podcast, The Leadership Lessons! Check out the first episode, with former Australian Prime Minister, Julia Gillard.

It would be framing it mildly to say that 2020 has been a cataclysmic disaster.

Bushfires ravaged our country, a pandemic swept across our globe, race tensions flared everywhere, populism rose, sexism thrived, climate change was forgotten… and we’re only three quarters of the way through the year.

But, if the last few months have taught us anything, it’s that female leadership is more critical than ever.

To cement real progress and build the future we envision, we need fewer men with inflated egos and hot heads, and more dynamic women with purposeful agendas and unwavering drive. We need leadership lessons from those we trust to guide us through.

It’s for this reason that Women’s Agenda has teamed up with Salesforce to bring you a new, special podcast series which will explore the critical decade ahead with insights and advice from prominent female leaders across industries and from a diversity of backgrounds.

Women like Australia’s first female Prime Minister, Julia Gillard; business trailblazers like Pip Marlow, Kirstin Ferguson and Brianna Casey; social activists and entrepreneurs like Raji Ambikairajah and Yasmin Poole, and agenda setters like Mary Konstantopoulos and Kirsty Webeck.

We’re thrilled to have Kate Mills on board to help as host of the new podcast. Kate is an ex-journalist turned CEO in the for-purpose sector.

She spent 20 years in print journalism and is now the CEO of the Property Industry Foundation where she works with the property and construction industry to build homes for youth homelessness.
