New female CEO and Chair for Advance

Emma Rugge Price has been appointed the Australian CEO of Advance, an organisation aiming to connect more than one million Australians living overseas.

She joins the newly appointed chairman Yasmin Allen, as the organisation aims to attract further growth and partnerships with the university sector.

According to the organisation’s global CEO Serafina Maiorano, Emma’s appointment will help facilitate growth across corporate and university alliances and partnerships in Australia.

She’s had a broad career in technology marketing and communications all over the world, including in Hong Kong, London and Silicon Valley. She’s a former VP of brand and communications with GE.

“I have always considered myself a passionate Australian as well as a global citizen. I am excited to combine these passions to champion and connect Australian talent and businesses on the global stage with Advance,” she said on her appointment.

Yasmin Allen is known as one of the most connected board women in Australia, and currently holds boards roles with Cochlear, Santos and the ASX. She had an extensive career in investment banking before joining boards, including in Sydney and London.
