Ready to unlock your leadership potential? This program might be for you

AllBright has ambitious goals for Australian women, and one of them is helping them to step into the C-Suite

In the 2021 reporting season, the CEO female appointment rate on the ASX 200 was zero, and more than a third of ASX 300 companies still do not have a single woman in an executive team line role. Zero. It’s just not good enough.

Which is why AllBright’s mission is so powerful. The company was founded by former HEARST UK CEO Anna Jones (she was the first ever female CEO in the company) and Debbie Wosskow OBE, the serial entrepreneur who founded home-exchange subscription company Love Home Swap (and later sold it for USD $53m). The pair met at a party in London and got talking about women in leadership, or rather the lack of women in leadership. They didn’t just talk. They decided to do something about it. Jones left her corner office at HEARST, and together, they founded AllBright, on a mission to help women supercharge their careers.

AllBright’s offering includes an extensive digital platform which gives members access to weekly events, online education, daily content, a thriving community and mentoring opportunities. It not only helps them to navigate their careers, no matter what stage they’re at, it allows them to connect with likeminded women.

Earlier this year, as part of the company’s global expansion AllBright acquired women’s lifestyle platform The Grace Tales, founded by Georgie Abay, the former deputy editor of Vogue Australia. Abay now heads up AllBright Australia. Since its launch, AllBright has held events with women such as Australian of The Year 2021 Grace Tame and speaker and author Aminata Conteh-Biger.

The company has ambitious goals in Australia – but ambition is what is needed to turn around the statistics we’re continually presented with. In Australia, recent research found that businesses perform better when they get more women on their boards and into key management personnel positions. Companies that appoint a female CEO see an average 5 per cent increase in market value, worth a massive 80 million in market value.

It’s research like this that has inspired the next stage of AllBright’s Australian launch, the Elevator program. Specifically for women with 10+ years of management experience, it’s designed to bring together female leaders to develop their C-suite and board potential.

Elevator will run over four months, and involves four in-depth, tailored workshops with exceptional, specialist coaches, all of whom have a deep knowledge of leadership. If you’re thinking about taking the next step in your career, this is the program to help you do it.

AllBright is working with five renowned coaches who will collectively change the course of your career. Gillian Fox – the brilliant woman behind the leadership development company Gillian Fox Group – is one of the women headlining the Australian AllBright Elevator program. She knows what it takes, having been a senior executive herself. And, she knows what holds many women back.
