Plan will be launching their new youth-led report during the session, A Better Normal: Girls Call for A Revolutionary Reset.

The report brings in the experiences and ideas from girls all over the world. We’ll use the findings to guide a discussion on the real visions and solutions we need for the future, and why girls are key.

Madhuraa Prakash, Imogen Senior and Kavindhya Almedia are part of our 2020 Youth Activist Series, supported by The Body Shop, and will share the research findings – a collective vision for a better future – and how we can get there.

They’ll be joined on the Webinar by Yasmin Poole, Plan International’s Youth Ambassador and award winning speaker, writer and youth advocate.

Women’s Agenda’s Tarla Lambert will be hosting the conversation.

Our pre-COVID-19 world undeniably failed girls and young women, in all their diversities. To create a better normal, we must listen to the experiences and ideas of girls and young women, instead of ignoring them.

COVID-19 has exposed, revealed, deepened and created significant cracks in our systems, institutions and leadership.

But it also presents opportunities for real change. As the world rebuilds in the wake of this crisis, do we want to simply return to ‘normal’ or can we create something better, together?
