Sally Collins has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of industry super fund HESTA.
Collins, who most recently worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Victorian Funds Management Corporation, replaces Megan Bolton, who left HESTA earlier this year.
Collins will be responsible for managing financial and accounting processes, legal matters, tax, facilities and sustainability, project execution and governance.
Debby Blakey, HESTA CEO, welcomed the appointment of Collins, and said her senior leadership experience and industry knowledge would be beneficial in the role.
“Sally brings extensive experience from senior roles in a range of global and Australian businesses,” Ms Blakey said.
“I look forward to the contribution she will make to both our executive leadership team and the whole organisation.”
Collins has held several general manager positions at the National Australia Bank, and head of departments roles at CBA and AXA. She is also the Chair of Autism Awareness Australia (AAA) and has been a non-executive director on the AAA since 2016.
“I am so delighted to join the executive team at HESTA and am looking forward to contributing to all the important work HESTA does in growing our members’ retirement savings at a time when our members are working so hard for all Australians,” Collins said.
Back in 2020, HESTA launched an investor-led initiative called 40:40 Vision to push companies in the ASX200 to fill at least 40 per cent of their executive positions with women by 2030.
