Lisa Chesters
Lisa Chesters is the current Labor member for the seat of Bendigo.
She became a member of Bendigo in 2013 when she was the first woman to ever win the seat.
Chesters has a degree in politics and psychology and has a professional background in the union movement.
She says she is passionate about worker’s rights, and in parliament, is concerned about education, secure jobs and local businesses.
She is standing on the Labor Party’s policy platform, including making childcare cheaper, more affordable housing, and changes to aged care.
