Three children stabbed in Baulkham Hills home, woman arrested

A 46-year-old woman is under arrest over the stabbing of three children in Sydney’s north-western suburb of Baulkham Hills.

Emergency services were called to a home on Jamieson Avenue at around 5.20am on Monday morning after reports multiple people had been stabbed. 

Police officers found a 10-year-old boy, a 13-year-old girl, a 16-year-old girl and a 46-year-old woman with stab wounds. The children were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

The woman was taken to the hospital under police guard.

NSW Police said the children and the woman are believed to be known to each other and that no other persons were being sought in relation to the stabbing. No charges have been laid.

A crime scene has been established by police at the home and investigations are ongoing.
