By sacking Sarah Macdonald, the ABC has sent the message to women that we are not the workers they want, or the audience they care about.

Whilst now in my 40’s, and having fled our father when I was 8 years old, I do wonder whether he knows the damage done, and the terror which still haunts me.

I had no idea how insidious domestic abuse can be. And then I met my husband.

The only way we can #breakthebias is to have these leaders held to account for their actions. Discrimination against women not only violates company policies, it is a crime.

The absolute terror of what occurred in my life reverberated shockwaves so deep through my psyche and the core of my being.
