Dr Marg Rogers, Dr Diana Jefferies and Joanne Ng

Dr Marg Rogers is a Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood Education within the School of Education.  Marg is the lead researcher for the funded Early Childhood Defence Program project (ECDP). This team, along with their Steering Committee of stakeholders has developed research-based, free, online resources for early childhood educators, parents and family/social workers to better support young children from Australian military families. She also researches with Professor Fabio Dovigo (Denmark) and Associate Professor Laura Doan (Canada) about educators’ work. Dr Diana Jefferies is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Western Sydney. She is a registered nurse with 25 years of clinical experience in mental health, drug and alcohol nursing and caring for those living with HIV/AIDS challenging behaviour with an academic background in the humanities. Her research examines historical and literary representations of mental illness to investigate the cultural background of stigma. Joanne Ng is an Associate Lecturer in early childhood at Excelsia College. Joanne is a reflective Early Childhood practitioner who has been teaching extensively for over 12 years both in Australia and Singapore. Joanne is passionate about young children’s positive interactions, inclusion, second language acquisition and staff’s well-being, professional development and leadership. Her current research interest includes, burnout and well-being of early childhood educators, multi-language and multicultural learning, early childhood.
