Laurie Marsden

is a writer, psychotherapist, social worker and women’s advocate. She has written for the Los Angeles Times, O Magazine, and MamaMia, and her story has been featured in The Guardian, CBS News and 60 Minutes. A former top model in the 80s and 90s, Laurie is also a breast cancer survivor and is passionate about supporting domestic violence shelters, sexual assault survivors and women’s health. Originally from the US, she is now based in Brisbane, Australia where she lives with her husband and two children
