Mani Thiru

Mani Thiru is a Sydney-based leader in space and technology, known for her work bridging innovation and societal impact. She founded DeepTech Ventures, focused on space tech, robotics and green hydrogen initiatives after serving as Head of Space & Satellite for Amazon Web Services (AWS) across Asia Pacific from 2018-2024. With her spacetech expertise, she iis currently a BESydney ambassador and serves as an advisory board member for ARC Centre of Excellence for Transformative Meta-Optical Systems (TMOS) as well as the Bushfire Research Centre of Excellence (Australian National University). Mani is a 2023 Karman Fellow and Stanford alumna - she is a vocal advocate for women and minorities in STEM, recognized as 100 Women in Technology Singapore 2023 and as an Emerging Leader by Women’s Agenda in 2020.
