Rachel Coghlan

Dr Rachel Coghlan is a humanitarian, public health and palliative care practitioner, researcher and advocate based in central Victoria. She is a Fulbright Scholar, a Director of Palliative Care Australia, and a PhD graduate of the Centre for Humanitarian Leadership, Deakin University, where her research focused on palliative care in Gaza. She has many friends and colleagues living in Gaza. Rachel writes to spread a little compassion and humanity in living and in dying, and to help make sense of grief and suffering in our world.
