Siobhan Mackay & Caitlin Weatherby-Fell

Siobhan Mackay is the Chief Executive Officer of the Katherine Women’s Legal Service (KWILS), a specialist women’s legal service in based in Katherine and working with women from across the Big Rivers Region, NT. In her current role, Siobhan seeks to amplify all Big Rivers’ women’s voices in KWILS’ advocacy, representation, and community engagement, sharing their strength and hopes for change, whilst also highlighting the barriers that need to be overcome to ensure true access to safety, justice, and gender equity and Caitlin Weatherby-Fell is the Chief Executive Officer and Principal Lawyer of the Top End Women’s Legal Service, a specialist women’s legal service in Darwin, NT. In her current role, Caitlin advocates for systemic and legislative changes to alleviate and eradicate domestic, family and sexual violence at both the Territory and Commonwealth levels, with particular focus on intersectional vulnerabilities, the impacts of remoteness, and lived experienced through a gendered lens.
