Sapphire Parsons is a Senior Workplace Lawyer, victim-survivor, and migrant woman of colour whose advocacy has helped shape the national conversation on work-related gendered violence. In 2024, her advocacy led to the first recommendation in Australian history to regulate gendered violence under safety laws and in 2025, she coordinated one of the largest coalitions of its kind, a National Joint Submission to Safe Work Australia’s Best Practice Review, backed by 33 peak bodies, national and global experts.
