A week after the Grammys and Neil Portnow’s advice for women in the music industry to “step up”, female music execs have penned a letter of rebuke to the Grammys board.

A number of women in the music industry including Pink, Sheryl Crow and Katy Perry have spoken out against Recording Academy President, Neil Portnow’s suggestion that women need “to step up”.
