Amanda Rishworth
Amanda Rishworth is the current Labor member for the seat of Kingston.
Rishworth was elected to the parliament in 2007 at age 29. She is the Shadow Minister for Early Childhood Education and Shadow Minister for Youth. She was previously Shadow Minister for Veterans’ Affairs.
Rishworth studied psychology at university and has a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Adelaide University. She practised as a psychologist before entering parliament.
She is passionate about improving outcomes for families and making childcare more affordable, as well as creating secure jobs.
