Bridget Archer
Bridget Archer is the current Liberal member in the marginal seat of Bass.
Archer was first elected to the parliament in 2019, and now holds the seat by a small margin of just 0.4%, the smallest margin of any Coalition-held seat.
During her term in parliament, Archer has spoken out against Morrison government’s cashless welfare card and crossed the floor, voting against her own party on issues like religious discrimination legislation, and to bring on debate on a federal integrity commission.
She has recently said she would continue to go against the Coalition on issues that are important to her constituents.
