Clare O’Neil
Clare O’Neil is the current Labor member for the seat of Hotham.
She was first elected to parliament in 2013 and is the shadow minister for senior Australians and aged care.
Before entering federal politics, she was the Mayor of the City of Greater Dandenong, the youngest female mayor in Australian history. She has also worked as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Co. She holds a double degree from Monash University, and also attended Harvard University as a Fulbright Scholar.
In her political career, she has also served as shadow minister for financial services, and innovation technology and the future of work.
She is standing for re-election on the policy of the Labor Party.
