Faye Aspiotis
The mother of four moved to the Mid North Coast 20 years ago as a project engineer on water and weather station projects, and has also worked as a mathematics and science teacher.
Through her work as a teacher, Aspiotis says as a teacher she witnessed the diverse learning styles of children and their struggles in the academic-focused education system.
She believes One Nation’s apprenticeship program would help to address the skills shortage, while addressing some inadequacies in the education system.
Aspiotis also supports One Nation’s proposed increase to the aged pension, disability support and the freezing of politicians’ wages.
She is against the mining and CSG exploration of agricultural land and the privatisation of water.
