Fiona Phillips - Women's Agenda

Fiona Phillips

Seat: Gilmore
Party: Labor
Fiona Phillips MP is the current member for the Labor-held seat of Gilmore. With a degree in economics and a master of business, Phillips has had a long career working in education, skills and training on the South Coast of NSW. A mother of four, Phillips’ first foray into politics was in 2009 when she stepped up to lead a difficult but successful six-year campaign to save Nowra’s community pool. She says the campaign taught her how hard work at a grassroots level can bring about meaningful change in the community. Phillips wants to see safer roads in her region, improved education and employment rates, and better health, mental health and ageing services.
