Heather Armstrong is the Greens candidate for the Liberal-held seat of North Sydney.


Armstrong is a retired federal prosecutor for the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions.

She has longstanding connections to the local area, including attending Cremorne Girls High School, and she lives in Hunter’s Hill.


Throughout her career, she worked as a solicitor in private practice, as well as the Law Reform Commission of NSW and the Commonwealth.

She is also a volunteer in environmental groups.


She is standing on the Greens’ policy platform and supports a greenhouse gas reduction target of 75% of natural emissions by 2030, and reaching net-zero by 2035.
