Julie Collins
Julie Collins is the current Labor Party member for Franklin.
Collins became the first woman to win the seat of Franklin in 2007, and has been re-elected multiple times. She is the Shadow Minister for Agriculture.
In the previous Labor government, she was the Minister for Community Services, Indigenous Employment and Economic Development, and the Status of Women and Housing and Homelessness.
She lives on Hobart’s Eastern Shore with her husband and children.
