Karen Andrews

Karen Andrews is the current member for the LNP-held seat of McPherson.

Andrews was first elected to the parliament in 2010 and was re-elected in 2013, 2016 and 2019.

She is the Minister for Home Affairs, and has previously served as the Minister for Industry, Science and Technology.

Before entering politics, Andrews was a mechanical engineer and industrial relations consultant.

Andrews is running for re-election in 2022 as part of the Morrison government, standing the Coalition’s policy platform.
