Kirstie Smolenski

Smolenski is a nurse, project manager and mother of five. She says the major parties have not responded to the changing needs of the region and her decisions as a politician would be based on community consultation.

Smolenski wants to see a new hospital built in Toowoomba and a new passenger rail to connect Brisbane to regional areas, and a better plan for water security.

Her other goals are also to address housing affordability and integrity in politics.
