Lela Panich

Lela Panich is the United Australia Party candidate for the Labor held seat of Fowler.

The Fairfield local, who works in marketing, decided to enter politics during the pandemic due to her belief that the current government is “stripping Australians of basic human rights, freedom and liberties”.

A mother of five, Panich supports UAP’s anti-lockdown stance as well as its “choice over coercion” approach to vaccination.

Panich, who is of Serbian descent, says she wants to preserve the multiculturalism of Fowler while improving employment, economic and health services.

A regular church-goer and community volunteer, Panich is also passionate about bolstering youth, education and mental health services
