Linda Burney

Linda Burney is the current member in the Labor-held seat of Barton. She was elected to the federal parliament in 2016 for the Labor party, after a 13-year career in state parliament. She is currently the Shadow Minister for Families and Social Services and Shadow Minister for Indigenous Australians. Linda is a strong advocate for the rights of First Nations people, and is committed to the prevention of domestic and family violence.
