Johnstone has spent the past decade campaigning to protect Tasmania’s forests and wilderness, and is a mother and grandmother.
Johnstone is concerned about the expansion of industrial fish farms, increased pollution, and overuse of rivers and increased logging and privatisation of national parks.
She is running on the Greens’ policy platform.
