Melissa Price
Melissa Price is the current Liberal member for the seat of Durack.
Price was first elected to parliament in 2013, and currently serves as the Minister for Defence Industry, and the Minister for Science and Technology in the Morrison government. She has previously served as the Minister for Environment.
She has a professional background as a solicitor, and in other areas of business at CBH Group and Crosslands Resources. Price was also a non-executive director of the Cancer Council of Western Australia and the BrightSpark Foundation until 2016.
She is standing on the policy platform of the Morrison government.
