Meryl Swanson
Meryl Swanson is the Labor Party’s sitting member for Paterson, elected to the House of Representatives in 2016 and re-elected in 2019.
Swanson served as the Shadow Assistant Minister for Defence from 11.8.2020.
She is currently the Chair of Labor’s Regional Jobs Taskforce, investigating unemployment in regional areas.
She is standing for re-election on the Labor Party’s policy platform.
