Padma Chaplin

Padma Chaplin is the Animal Justice Party candidate for the Centre Alliance-held seat of Mayo.

Chaplin is an artist and songwriter, who has worked in small business, servicing Indigenous communities. She is also a volunteer for organisations such as children’s overseas sponsorship programmes and refugee groups, and at a sanctuary for farmed animals and ex-racehorses.

Chaplin is standing on the policy platform of the Animal Justice Party, and is particularly interested in plant-based agriculture.
