Paula Creen is the Greens candidate for the seat of Dawson, currently held by outgoing MP George Christensen.

Creen was born and raised in Mackay, and has worked for over 20 years as a building designer. She is an active community volunteer, and has been part of Volunteer Marine Rescue Mackay for 12 years, as well as being involved in the Slade Point Community Gardens and Mackay Conservation Group. She is also an active member of SES Mackay and is President of Mackay 8-Ball Association.

Creen is passionate about the environment and is standing for election on the policy platform of The Greens. She supports issues including: providing a just transition and support for coal mining workers to new industries like clean energy, building more public housing, protecting renter’s rights, free childcare, free TAFE and University, and adding dental and mental healthcare into Medicare.
