Sarina Kilham

Sarina Kilham

Seat: Grayndler
Sarina Kilham is an independent candidate for the Labor-held seat of Grayndler.

The experienced sociologist has worked for the United Nations in East Timor, led international development aid programs and currently teaches agricultural students.

Kilham holds a PhD in Sustainable Futures from the University of Technology Sydney.

Climate change and its impact on the community was one of the factors that drove Kilham to run against current Grayndler member and Opposition Leader, Anthony Albanese.

She believes the country “does not have another four years to play party politics”.

The mother of two young children’s policies centre on climate action based on science, a reduction in student debt and free education in essential worker professions and a human rights approach to all essential services.
