Vivian Harris

Vivian Harris is the Greens candidate for the Labor-held seat of Eden-Monaro.

The well-known local climate activist has qualifications in veterinary science, environmental health and education.

Harris believes the people of Eden-Monaro, who were greatly impacted by the Black Summer bushfires, deserve environmental policies and climate change action based on scientific evidence.

Harris says her experience living for 15 years in the low socio-economic area of Macleay Valley as a low-income casual and contract worker has driven her passion to deliver low-cost housing, health care and education to those who really need it.

Her policies also include free childcare, dental care and improvements to the NDIS.
