Zoe Daniel
Zoe Daniel is an independent candidate in the Liberal-held seat of Goldstein.
Daniel is the community-backed independent candidate, selected by the “Voices of Goldstein” community group. Daniel has a background in journalism, and has had a long career as a foreign correspondent at the ABC.
Daniel says her main policy priority areas are climate action, integrity in politics, gender equity and transparent economic management.
In interviews, she says she has historically been a “swinging voter” and doesn’t feel like either major party represents her values.
