Zvetanka Raskov
Zvetanka Raskov is the United Australia Party candidate for the Labor-held seat of Chifley.
Born in Bulgaria, Raskov and her family fled the war torn country as refugees in 1971 and settled in Australia. She has worked in the corporate sector before running a boarding house for a decade. After the boarding house was destroyed in an arson attack, Raskov became an Uber driver and later a bus operator.
She claims to have lost her job due to “vaccine mandates” and says the main driver for her interest in entering politics is to “prevent Labor, Liberal and the Greens from destroying our great country”.
