Cara Dignum has been appointed Managing Director at Lundbeck, a global pharmaceutical company specialising in brain diseases.
Dignum brings extensive leadership experience in the neuroscience industry to her new position. Having worked with Lundbeck for twelve years, she began as the product manager in 2012, before progressing into the senior product manager at the Sydney-based office.
From there, Dignum worked as the global brand manager, senior global brand manager and global marketing director in Denmark, before returning to Australia as national marketing director and then commercial director.
Dignum has also worked as an analyst with Deloitte Australia, as a strategic planner with Grey Group and as a senior strategic planner with H&T.
“12 years ago when I walked into Lundbeck, I never imagined the company would deliver such a rewarding career here and abroad. Excited to be leading the incredible organization that is Lundbeck Australia,” Dignum wrote on LinkedIn.
For more than 70 years, Lunbeck has engaged in brain health and neuroscience research, development, manufacturing and commercialisation of pharmaceuticals across the world.
