Free webinar: Margie Warrell on Resilience & Courage amid the uncertainty of COVID-19

Women’s Agenda has been running a number of free webinars on a wide range of different topics during this period.

We’ve been covering everything from leadership in a crisis to women leading on climate change, and look forward to doing many more over the coming weeks and months.

Our webinars are FREE to view and participate in (sometimes thanks to the support of a partner), and we hope they can bring some comfort, ideas and interaction during this period.

This Thursday at 12pm AEDT April 2, we’re thrilled to be bringing our readers a session with Margie Warrell, a brilliant international speaker and author who has written extensively on courage and resilience and has just released her latest book You’ve Got This, published by Wiley and available on booktopia here.

Margie will be speaking on how to: Tap The Power of Resilience & Courage Amid The Uncertainty of COVID-19

Spaces are limited. Please register for the webinar here.

Margie recently shared with Women’s Agenda how she found optimism and strength after her husband was diagnosed with coronavirus.

She had been due to go on an extensive international book tour at the time, with the events obviously cancelled due to the pandemic. Margie will be joining us from her home in Singapore.

Margie’s a Forbes columnist who has become known for her ‘courage-building programs’. She’s taught in universities globally and worked with people like Ariana Huffington, Kathy Calvin, and Sir Richard Branson.

She grew up in the Australian bush, was appointed Australia’s first Ambassador for Women in Global Business, and has taken her four kids to live all over the world.

We’ve partnered with book publisher Wiley to provide this Thursday’s webinar, as part of our ‘Knowledge For Now Hub’, aimed at presenting knowledge and ideas from leading experts that can equip us for some of the uncertainty we’re currently feeling. This extends on from The Thought Leaders Hub we started publishing in 2019.
