Former US Vice President Kamala Harris will visit Australia next year, joining as the headline speaker for the Women UNLIMITED Leadership Summit.
Kamala Harris will headline the event in February 2026 and make in-person appearances in Canberra and Sydney for a fireside conversation with Australian journalist Leigh Sales.
The Women UNLIMITED Leadership Summit is hosted by The Hatchery and this year featured high-profile speakers including Hillary Clinton and Julia Gillard.
“Women UNLIMITED isn’t just about hearing from extraordinary leaders, it’s about giving thousands of women the tools, networks, and confidence to step into leadership roles and create meaningful change,” shares Ellen Foxall, Head of Production at The Hatchery.

The summit will take place across Australia from 18th to 20th February 2026.
Harris recently released her book 107 Days, a memoir of the 2024 presidential campaign.
Publisher Simon & Schuster says the book sold 350,000 copies across all formats through the first week on sale in the U.S. It is on track to be this year’s best-selling memoir.
Just three celebrity memoirs have had a better first week of sales since 2023 – these were by Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, and Prince Harry, the publisher said.
In 2024, Harris lost the US presidential election to Donald Trump. She previously made history as the first woman, Black American and South Asian American to be elected Vice President of the US in 2021.
In her concession speech in November 2024, Harris said: “I know many people feel like we are entering a dark time, but for the benefit of us all, I hope that is not the case. But here’s the thing, America, if it is, let us fill the sky with the light of a billion bright stars. The light of optimism, of faith, of truth and service.”
The Women UNLIMITED Leadership Summit will bring together top women leaders from across sectors.
