Matildas star Mary Fowler has walked the runway at Paris Fashion Week, making her debut for L’Oréal Paris.
The 22-year-old became the first professional football player to walk in the Défilé L’Oréal Paris show at the Hotel de Ville.
Fowler has been L’Oréal Paris ambassador since last year. She walked on the runway alongside other ambassadors including supermodel Kendall Jenner, and prominent figures like Jane Fonda, Viola Davis, and Helen Mirren.

“Stepping onto the runway was an exhilarating experience and different from anything I’ve experienced on the football pitch. To walk alongside such inspiring figures, representing L’Oréal Paris, reinforced my belief that beauty is about embracing who we truly are and the confidence that comes with it,” Fowler said after the show.
“I hope every young woman watching, especially back home in Australia, felt that sense of empowerment and is inspired to embrace their individuality and walk with pride, knowing they are worth it.”
Mary Fowler walked the runway in a black gown by Christian Siriano.

Fowler, who also plays for Manchester City, is currently recovering after rupturing an anterior cruciate ligament in April during an FA Cup match.
Last month, Fowler was named in the 024/25 PFA WSL Team of the Year for the first time in her career. She was also nominated for Women’s PFA Players’ Player of the Year and PFA Young Player of the Year.
