We’re beyond excited to be launching nominations for the 2024 Women’s Agenda Leadership Awards, celebrating the power of women’s leadership in this critical decade.
Across a number of different categories, the Women’s Agenda Leadership Awards will uncover and elevate women who’ve been instrumental in responding to some of the biggest issues of our time, while shaping their sectors and the wider community.
You can nominate a leader, or enter yourself on our awards website here.
We are presenting a number of categories that reflect some of the key areas we’ve been covering daily on Women’s Agenda. We’re particularly interested in women’s leadership where it demonstrates inclusivity, innovation and growth.
This year, our focus is on integrity, asking how nominees have demonstrated their values and principles in the face of tough challenges. This could range from everyday workplace issues and matters affecting their teams, to macro challenges like the cost of living, climate change, natural disasters and other changes facing their industry.
Categories include the Small Business Leader of the Year category supported by the Commonwealth Bank, as well as Emerging Leader on Climate and Sustainability supported by Charles Sturt University, Emerging Leader in Science supported by CSIRO and Emerging Leader in Tech supported by Salesforce.
We’ve also got Emerging Leader categories in the Private Sector, Not-for-profit and Health, plus the Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year and Agenda Setter of the Year.
Meanwhile, Employer Initiative of the Year will be awarded to the employer that can best demonstrate an initiative supporting women’s leadership. Check out all the categories here.
Finalists will face a line up of judges comprising a group of established leaders across sectors. The full list of judges will be announced soon.
The awards ceremony will over a gala dinner at Pullman Melbourne On The Park on October 23 and will be hosted by Luli Adeyemo, Executive Director of the TechDiversity Foundation and 2023 Emerging Leader in Tech winner.
There will be a special keynote address from human rights lawyer and barrister, Jennifer Robinson, who is best known for her work as part of Julian Assange’s legal team.
This is our key event of the year. A much anticipated opportunity to connect, learn and leave inspired. We expect tickets to sell-out fast, so get in quick!
