It’s heartening to read that the next generation of women are putting their beliefs into action.
When three teenagers from New Jersey learned that it had been 20 years since a woman moderated a Presidential Election they were so horrified that they created a Change.org petition to set about changing that.
The petition targets the Commission on Presidential Debates and has received more than 120,000 signatures to date.
The argument is that a female moderator would address issues of concern to women like inequality in the workplace and the impact of the economy on women and families.
