Last week in the US, a group of 25 white, male Republican senators voted to pass anti-abortion laws in Alabama restricting abortion in all cases.

On Tuesday, Alabama’s state senate voted to outlaw abortion in the US state entirely. The legislation was passed on a vote of 25-6.
