Charlotte Wood has become the first Australian female writer to be shortlisted for the Booker Prize since 2006.

Australian author Charlotte Wood’s seventh novel, Stone Yard Devotional has been longlisted for the prestigious Booker Prize for 2024. 

Yankunytjatjara and Kokatha poet Ali Cobby Eckermann has taken home the top prize at this year’s New South Wales Premier’s Literary Awards.
