Emma Tonegato and Millie Boyle have been crowned joint winners of the NRLW’s Dally M Medal, the highest honour for any player in the sport.

The NRLW will move to a salary cap system, which will see player pay increase by an average of 28 percent. The competition will expand to eight teams in 2023 and ten in 2024.

The State of Origin match played on Friday night will be officiated by an all-female team, while both teams will be coached by women.
