Cartier offering grants of up to $150,000 for impact-driven women entrepreneurs

Every year, impact-driven businesses started and led by women are celebrated as part of a global entrepreneurship program designed to spotlight the inspiring change they’re making.

Last year, Cartier Women’s Initiative saw 33 incredible women working to drive positive change through its program.

The program, which has been running for nearly two decades puts the spotlight on women-run and women-owned ventures around the world.

In this time, it’s provided more than $18 million dollars in financial support to women entrepreneurs and business owners.

The program also has a growing network of more than 500 members worldwide.

Cartier’s key aim with this initiative is to empower female entrepreneurs with critical financial, social and human capital support to ensure they have the skills, tools and resources to grow their impact.

Selected applicants get to do a fellowship program including one-on-one workshops on leadership communication, media training and specialist business skills.

They get to connect with experienced jury members who can help them tap into global networks.

Eligibility for the program is detailed here

The key requirements are that the business is at an early stage, led by a woman or has a woman in a senior leadership role like chief operating officer or managing director.

The venture must also be able to demonstrate positive impact, revenue generation and scalability.

The program invests in entrepreneurs who are working on at least one of the UN’s sustainable development goals

Last year, Cartier ran the program with the aim of finding “forces for good”.

The top three applicants were awarded grants ranging from $46,000 to $150,000.

In addition to these funds, they gained access to powerful networking opportunities, tailored mentoring, coaching and education.

They also had opportunities to raise their profile through the media.

Women entrepreneurs and business owners have the chance to access this now with applications for the 2026 Cartier Women’s Initiative open till June 24.
